Tour Plan
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, guests are warmly welcomed by our professional safari guide briefed and assisted with luggage before beginning the journey to the Africa’s-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. The journey starts at around 8:00 am, this takes 5-6 hours in our luxurious Landcruiser. Guests enjoy the scenic Great Rift Valley, where a brief stop is made at the viewpoint for photography and breath-taking views of the escarpment. The journey continues through Narok town, offering a glimpse of Kenya’s countryside and traditional Maasai homesteads.
Guests arrive at the lodge or tented camp and are welcomed by drinks and then check-in in their respective tents. Guests have late lunch while enjoying some relaxation overlooking the vast savannah plains. Later in the evening, the guest can engage in various activities including swimming, taking walks around the camp or photography of different bird species near the camp and breathtaking African sunset.
The evening concludes with dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge or camp surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the wilderness.
The second day begins with an early morning game drive, the best time to witness the big five and wildlife activities in the Maasai Mara. As the sun rises across the plains, guests may encounter predators such as lions, hyenas, and cheetahs returning from hunting, while elephants, buffaloes, and giraffes roam freely across the reserve. The cool morning atmosphere and beautiful scenery provide excellent opportunities for photography and birdwatching before returning to the lodge for breakfast or have a bush breakfast upon request.
After breakfast, have a game drive to the less visited areas of Mara. Explore the mara river where you get to see the crocodiles and hippos and possibly witness other wildlife activities.
Later visit the traditional Maasai village to experience the rich culture and traditions of the Maasai community. Guests are welcomed with traditional dances where they get to participate and are introduced to Maasai way of life, local homes, beadwork, and traditional fire-making techniques. Later in the evening returning to the lodge for dinner, bonfire and overnight stay
The final day begins before sunrise with a memorable hot air ballon safari over the Maasai Mara. Guests are transferred early in the morning to the balloon launch site where they receive a short safety briefing before takeoff. As the balloon rises gently above the plains, guests enjoy breathtaking aerial views of the reserve as the savannah comes to life once again. This final experience offers another opportunity to spot wildlife such as elephants, zebras, wildebeests, and predators preparing for the day ahead. The golden sunrise over the Maasai Mara creates a memorable farewell moment and provides perfect scenery for photography enthusiasts.
After the Hot air Ballon experience, guests return to the lodge for breakfast before checking out and beginning the journey back to Nairobi. The drive once again passes through the stunning Great Rift Valley landscapes with optional stops for refreshments and souvenir shopping along the way. Upon arrival in Nairobi, guests are transferred either to their hotel or to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for their onward flight, marking the end of an unforgettable Maasai Mara safari experience.
